They lived in Washington County, Pennsylvania in the early part of the eighteen hundreds when their son John Loar Sr. (1811 - 1885) was born. Fred Fisher's records show that Yost Loar passed away in Sacramento, Sacramento county, California. John Loar Sr. was listed in the 1860 Paulding County, Ohio Census and spent the remainder of his days in that county. A large part of this family moved from Paulding county, Ohio to Michigan.
